Stone Development Group was the construction manager from 2018-2019 for Cheatham Street Flats, a multi-story steel-framed student housing complex located in San Marcos, Texas. The 175-unit, 234-bed student housing mixed-use development is 192,000 square feet at a cost $30+ million dollars. Cheatham Street Flats replaced the old rundown city block with a contemporary exterior and modern interior that services the community of Texas State University. Stone Development was responsible for building the two level below grade parking garage, retail wrap and steel podium. Cheatham Street Flats is a landmark project in for student housing in Texas; using modern prefabricated modular design and construction methods.
